Michael Schottle - President
Michael, originally from the Chicago area, has moved around a little throughout his life, to northern Illinois to Milwaukee, where he founded Root River Theatre Company, to New Hampshire, then finally to North Carolina. Despite all that moving, one thing has never changed, his love of theatre. Michael has always been very active in community theatre, both on stage and off. He loves to be on stage performing, but recently, he found his true calling, directing. After recently moving to North Carolina, his latest success is as a founding member of Over the River Theatre Company.
Jen Ingulli - Vice President
Although hailing from NY, Jen Ingulli has spent most of her professional years in the Southeast. For over 15 years, Jen worked in casting for film & TV, starting in Wilmington, NC at the offices of Fincannon & Associates. She had the privilege of working on many great TV and film projects, including The Walking Dead, Under the Dome and Rectify. As an independent casting director, Jen helmed casting on hit shows such as Homeland, Queen of the South, and The Passage.
Now happily working with the phenomenal staff at Thalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts, Jen's passion continues to be about empowering artists. Since her first love is theatre, Jen is thrilled to help bring to life a new theatrical company that will support the growing cultural
community in greater Leland, NC and beyond.
Diana Schottle - Treasurer
Diana brings a true love of theatre to the group having done her fair share of acting and being on stage. Diana's strength, though, is in business. She was formally an owner of a very successful residential and office cleaning company. Running a business not only gave her the financial skills, but she brings a real common sense approach to our company and its productions. She also has a meticulous eye for detail and has brought this trait to her work on the stage showing off her talents a set designer and dresser. Diana doesn't plan on stopping there, though. We may see a director credit next to her name in the near future.
